Sightseeing Bangkok - Floating Market and Railway Market
famous floating market are Damnensaduak Floating Market (cost 550baht half day tour) and Ampawa Floating Market (afternoon market) + Railway Market (tour cost 1,000 Baht)

Damnoen Saduak is the most popular floating market in Thailand, great for photo opportunities, food, and for giving you an insight into a bygone way of life. An early morning start is worth it to avoid the heat and catch Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest.
Amphawa floating markets provide opportunities to observe the old way of Thai living, traditional houses, green fields, and farms.

Amphawa Floating Market  is an afternoon floating market by the canal near Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, during 12.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m., the Amphawa Canal is occupied by vendors who pack their boats with food and drinks, such as fried sea mussel, noodles, coffee, O-liang (iced black coffee), sweets, etc. Visitors can enjoy a cosy atmosphere and music broadcast by the community members, explore the market, have food, and hire a boat to see fireflies at night.

Bangkok’s Maeklong Railway Market is the fact that a train literally runs through the market 7-8 times a day. It was a fascinating yet bizarre sight watching the market vendors selling their goods laid out on both sides of the railway track.

A train runs through the Maeklong Railway Market 7 times a day (7 days a week). In the morning, the train passes by the market 4 times. The train arrives at 0840hrs from Ban Laem Station and departs from Maeklong (Samut Songkram) Railway Station at 0900hrs. The next train arrives at 1120hrs from Ban Laem and depart from Maeklong (Samut Songkram) Railway Station at 1130hrs

In the afternoon, the train passes by the market 3-4 times. The train arrives at 1430hrs from Ban Laem and departs from Maeklong (Samut Songkram) Railway Station at 1530hrs. The next train arrives at 1740hrs from Ban Laem and may or may not depart from Maeklong (Samut Songkram) Railway Station. Do note that the train schedule is subject to change so check the schedules with the train station before planning your journey to Maeklong
