DIABETES natural treatment

DIABETES natural treatment

another name for Lady Finger (Bhindi ) is " OKURA ".

Last month in one of TV program I learnt of a treatment of Sugar (Diabetes).

Since I am diabetic, I tried it and it was very useful and my Sugar is in control now. In fact I have already reduced my medicine.

HOW TO PREPARE lady finger water for drinking

Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bhindi) and remove/cut both ends of each piece.

Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water.

Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature at night.

Early morning, before breakfast drink the lady finger water.

Keep doing it on daily basis.
Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR.

My friend has got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day.

You have to keep taking it for a few months before U see results.

Shanghai Famous Restaurant

Shanghai Famous Cuisine Restaurants - MUST TRY

more info visit www.tripadvisor.com

Nanxiang Steamed Stuffed Bun - Giant Xiao Long Bao

jumbo xiao long bao, filled with tasty soup that requires straw to sip in....a must try at nanxiang, yu Garden, Shanghai...

This is a must for all Shanghai travelers - the legendary Nanxiang mantou dian produces the best xiaolong bao (Bun) in the country - one should not miss this very good taste xiaolong bao - always being imitated but never duplicated.

85 Yu Yuan Road, Shanghai, China (Yu Garden.

Nanxiangzhen has many restaurants selling mantou, but this Nanxiang Mantou Dian in Yu Yuan Bazzar is most famous because of its xiaolongbao(steam dumpling). There are three stories in the same building, the lowest with long queue is for take away and also cheaper compare to 2nd and 3rh floor. I visited twice last week at the 2nd floor before 10 am...

Jian'guo 328 Xiaoguan - Shanghai Foods
No.328 Jian Guo West Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai 200031, China (Dapuqiao)

This is the best Shanghai Cuisine that I have ever tasted in Shanghai! I just love the charming environment. They served dishes 100% MSG free!

The portion of the dishes are just good enough for a perfect meal. Not forgetting their ice tea it's the best in town! Very reasonable priced! Do make reservations/plans before arriving... the queue can be 2 hours long!

Shanghai Lost Heaven Restaurant
- Yunnan Foods

38 Gaoyou Rd (south of West Fuxing Rd), Shanghai, China (Hengshan Road)

Lost Heaven on the Bund
No.17a Yanan East Road Huangpu District, Shanghai, China (The Bund)
Tel: 021-63300967

Last time I had visited the Lost Heaven on the Bund when I was in Shanghai.

Two years later, I am revisiting Shanghai again and this time, I deliberately go to visit the one in French Concession area.

Similar to the one on the Bund, the interior design of Lost Heaven is full of folklore-inspired.

Drinks and foods here are not very expensive, which is one of the reasons keep attracting people visiting. Cuisine is stylish, contemporary and delicious. Yet at reasonable price.

Lost Heaven is still on my top list to visit when visiting Shanghai

Yang's Fried-Dumpling (Wujiang Road)
No.54 -60 Wujiang Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, China (Nanjing West Road)

The small restaurant is located on the second floor in a mall on Wujiang road. Wujian road is just off Nanjing West road very close to the main train station there. You can either sit and eat at the restaurant, if you are lucky to get a table, or take away.

The fried dumplings are tasty and cheap. Note that these are Shanghai fried dumplings, not steamed xialongbao like the ones served for example at Din Tai Fung. Xiaolongbao means 'small steaming basket buns' while the ones served in this restaurant are mostly fried in a large type of frying pan and they are definitely bigger and meatier than xialongbao.

Definitely one of the best dumpling kinds which I've only found in Shanghai so far... These are kind of "crispy" with soup inside, a real experience in Shanghai and at very cheap price.

Shanghai Dragon Phoenix Restaurants
8F, Fairmont Peace Hotel, 20 Nanjing Road East, Shanghai 200002, China (The Bund) Tel: 021-61386880

“An amazing taste of Shanghai food”
Reviewed May 20, 2013 Located in a exclusive venue, the restaurant has en amazing scenery. The view on the river is great and we were happy to be seated on a table next to the river. Everything is up to an extremely good standard, We didn't have to wait long for the food to be ready and it was really delicious. The experience was good.

Shanghai Laolao Restaurants
No.70 Fuzhou Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China (The Bund) Tel: 021-63216613

Shanghai Laolao serves amazing Shaghainese food. It isn't dirty, the food comes out super quick. We had to wait about 20 minutes to actually sit down but definitely worth the wait. It is located about a block in from the bund, making it very easy to get to. The business of the place with locals is testament to how the food tasted! The menu is extensive enough that you wouldn't find something you can't eat, and it isn't by any means expensive at all.

Hong Kong Tim Ho Wan - king of Dim Sum at affordable price
Tim Ho Wan, the world's cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant. This dim sum restaurant chain is highly rated for its food quality and affordability

Shop 12A, Hong Kong Station (Podium Level 1, IFC Mall) , Central

Mon to Sun: 09:00 - 21:00

MUST-TRY:
baked bun with BBQ pork, glutinous rice dumpling and pan-fried turnip cake, siu mai and har gao

customer comments:
"In a city that is synonymous with dim sum it is difficult to determine a "best" dim sum, but Tim Ho Wan is definitely up with the best. The siu mai and har gao are already great, but what really makes this place special is the BBQ pork bun, which are not the typical cha siu bao, but more some kind of filled pineapple bun - the combination of pork, sauce, bun and sweet sugar crust is irresistible.
There are always long queues, which can be avoided by going for take-out, which usually takes less than 10 minutes and you can take your food to the top of IFC mall and eat with a view.
Very reasonable for the quality."

Hong Kong Freshly-dried lap cheung

Cantonese preserved sausage
Some Chinese sausages can be heavy on the salt and spices, but Cantonese laap cheung is a perfectly well-proportioned mix of slightly-sweet pork fat and meat. Rose water and rice wine gives it a pungent edge and soy sauce serves as a salty counterpart to the sweetness.

Cook it with rice, vegetables, eggs or just about anything.

Freshly-dried lap cheung are available in the winter at Wo Hing Preserved Meat, 368 Queens Road Central, Sheung Wan, tel +852 2546 8958. Frozen-foods specialist DCH (various locations) carries tasty Canadian lap cheung all year round. Or just drop into any of the stores that have sausages on display on Sheung Wan's "dried seafood street."

Hong Kong Yung Kee's roast goose

Yung Kee's roast goose
Yung Kee has been around since the 1940s when it was a mere food stall near the ferry pier and has since grown to be the authority on Hong Kong roast goose.

Today, nine out of 10 people will recommend friends visiting Hong Kong to have a meal at Yung Kee for their 'siu ngoh.' The restaurant will even specially pack their goose as carry-on luggage for departing travelers. It isn't the cheapest by a long way and some may say that the most authentic roast duck is still to be found deep in the New Territories, but its an institution not to be missed.

If you're inclined, try the equally famous thousand-year egg with ginger, which is so reputable, other restaurants buy from Yung Kee to serve to their own customers.

DIY removing gallstones

REMOVING GALLSTONES NATURALLY by Dr Lai Chiu-Nan

"Even if you don't have any symptom s of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.

Gallstones may not be everyone’s concern but may lead to cancer. We all have them (big or small, many or few). “Cancer is never the 1st illness. There are a lot of other problems leading to cancer. I came across some materials stating that people with cancer usually had stones,” said Dr Lai Chiu Nan of Taiwan.

One symptom of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal as if you can’t digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area.”

Dr Lai offers the apple juice treatment which is good for those with a weak liver. Liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

1) Drink 1 glass (250ml) 100% apple juice 4 times a day for 5 days. 1 glass at breakfast, 1 glass at lunch, 1 glass at dinner & 1 glass before going to bed. It softens the gallstones. Eat normally.

2) On the 6th day, skip dinner. At 6pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water. At 8 PM, repeat the same for purging purpose. It helps to flush out all solid stuff. It also opens and dilates the gallbladder ducts. At 10 PM, drink half a glass of olive oil mixed with half a glass of lemon juice. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage. Lemon juice helps to extract the stones out from gallbladder .

Soon you will purge again. This time you can find greenish stuff floating in your toilet bowl, if you have gallstones. “You may want to count them. I have had people who passed out 40, 50 or up to 100 stones.” as told by Dr Lai. “Even if you don’t have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It’s always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up every now and then.”
