CLEAN YOUR KIDNEYS WITH LESS THAN $1.00

Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt,

and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments.

It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley and wash it clean. Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and

boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour

in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.

Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt and other accumulated

poison coming out of your kidney by urination. Also you will be able to

notice the difference which you never felt before.

Korea - very nice cream (MUST TRY)

KOREA very nice ICE CREAM in the shape of a fish

a MUST EAT ice cream when you visit Korea or Japan

very hard to find in Singapore.  i found it in the food fair in expo changi.

While in Korea the name is Bungeoppang (붕어빵) , in Japan it’s called Taiyaki (鯛焼き), a Japanese fish-shaped cake. The most common filling is red bean paste that is made from sweetened azuki beans (But, instead of only red bean paste, on this thing they plant ice cream and red bean paste on the top. A wafery crispy fish-shaped layer is covering the combination of red bean paste and ice cream on the inside make this snack looks so adorable. How about the taste? It’s irresistible.

China Guangzhou shopping and foods

China Guangzhou - shopping and foods

Guangzhou is the largest and most flourishing industrial and foreign trade center in south China. The city is overflowing with a business atmosphere, with large shopping malls and popular shopping streets scattered around.. Don't forget to bargain!

1. Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street: Enjoy Grabbing a Bargain

Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is one of the most prosperous three business centers in Guangzhou, consisting of Shangjiu Road, Xiajiu Road, and Dishifu Road. It is a nice destination with various affordable goods, unique Guangzhou-style buildings, and delicious Canton snacks and food.
Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street
What you can buy: The street is a summary of Guangzhou people’s eating and clothing. There are hundreds of shops (including numerous department stores) along this 1,218-meter street. The main goods sold there are clothing and cloth. The famous Huanlin Jade Street (a nice place for buying jade articles), and the largest farm products market, Qingping Farm Products Market, are also located there.
Tasting Canton food: After hundreds of years’ development, there are many old and famous restaurants and teahouses, such as Qingping Restaurant (清平饭店), Huang Shang Huang (皇上皇腊味店, well-known for its cured meat), Lianxiang Building (莲香楼, famous for its Canton-style moon cake and various dim sums), TaotaoJu (陶陶居, another famous tea house), and Guangzhou Restaurant (广州酒家). Most of them are located on Dishifu Road. You can also taste the numerous street snacks.
Cloth, clothing, paper, and herbs: Centered around Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street there is a business area covering 2.5 square kilometers, with several cloth markets, a clothing market, a paper wholesale market, and a Chinese herbal medicine market.
Subway: Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is in Liwan District. You can take Subway Line 1, get off at Changshou Road (长寿路), take Exit A, and walk about 500 meters along Baohua Road (宝华路, follow the stream of people if you do not know which direction).

2. Tianhe Teemall: Guangzhou's Top International Mall

Guangzhou Teemall
Teemall is the most prosperous and the most international business center in Guangzhou. The all-encompassing shopping mall offers services of shopping, eating (including Chinese food and Western food), entertainment, bodybuilding, business affairs, and exhibition. However, the large shopping mall has no difference from those in other cities. If you are looking for local products, go elsewhere.
What you can buy: It is not a cheap place to shop, but there is a modern shopping center with a few local shops. International stores include Lacoste, Zara, H&M, and Versace. Guangzhou Book Center, the largest book store in Guangzhou, is also located there.
How to get there: Teemall is near the Guangzhou CBD, Tianhe Sports Center, and Guangzhou East Railway Station. You can take subway line 1 or 3 to Tiyu West Road (体育西路) or a bus stopping at Tianhe (天河站) or Sports Center (体育中心).

3. China Plaza

China Plaza
China Plaza is located at the junction of Zhongshan Third Road, facing Guangzhou Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs. The shopping mall, together with its Grade A office building, is one of Guangzhou's landmarks.
Free Wi-Fi is available in China Plaza.
China Highlights remind you not to show too much interest and not to buy too quickly. You might get a surprise of a lower price if you do not give in too quickly.
What you can buy: China Plaza has 9 floors, including a basement floor. Clothing, mobile phones and accessories, furniture, and food are all available there.
  • Basement floor: Many famous internationally branded goods, including CK, TOMMY, MONGO, and THEME
  • Floor 1: domestic branded goods
  • Floor 2: supper market and video games
  • Floor 3: fashionable clothing and accessories
  • Floor 4: mobile phones, digital products, and accessories
  • Floor 5: furniture
  • Floor 6: Culture City with food, snacks, and clothing and accessories
  • Floor 7: Food Palace with cooking styles of Chinese, Japanese, South Korean, European, and American food
  • Floor 8: cinema and health club
Subway: Take subway line 1, get off at Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs (烈士陵园), and take Exit A.

4. Gangding Computer and Digital Shopping Circle

Guangzhou Computer Shopping Circle
There are several computer shopping malls in this circle, and the main ones are Tianhe Computer Mall (天河电脑城, at 502 Tianhe Road), Buynow Computer Mall (百脑汇), Pacific Digital Plaza (太平洋电脑城), Guangzhou Computer Mall (广州电脑城), and EGO Digital Plaza (颐高数码广场).
Appliances and various digital products including computers, laptops, tablets, digital cameras, accessories, and software are widely sold there. If you are an enthusiastic fan of digital products, this circle should be a nice place for you. Cheap and fine goods can be founded there: the central premise is that you are a good bargainer with sharp eyes.
  • How to get there: Gangding Computer and Digital Shopping Circle is located in Tianhe District, you can take subway line 3 and get off at Gangding Station (岗顶站).

5. Beijing Road Pedestrian Street (北京路步行街)

Beijing Road
Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is a typically crowded place to shop and eat, especially during weekends. There are about 140 stores in this 440-meter street.
The main goods sold there are clothing, articles of daily use, shoes, leather products, bags, food, jewelry, and books. Guangzhou Cartoon Star City (广州动漫星城) nearby has lots of products imported from Japan and South Korea, and is an exciting place for youths and comic fans.
Beijing Road is not far from Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. Generally, Beijing Road is not as good as Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, because it does not have so many excellent restaurants and snacks, though it has its own charm.
  • How to get there: Beijing Road (Beijing Lu) is located in Guangzhou city center. You can take subway line 1 or 2, get off at Gongyuanqian (公元前站), and then walk to Beijing Road.

Seoul Korea Famous Fish Market - Noryangin Fish Market

Seoul, Korea - famous Noryangjin Fish Market (open 24 hours) Great Place  for seafoods and experience
13-8 Noryangjin-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Getting there:
Take subway line 1 to Noryangjin Station. Go out exit 1 and walk for about 520 meters. Or you can take subway line 9 to Noryangjin Station, go out exit 1 and walk about 290 meters.

The Noryangjin Fish Market is a great "real Seoul" experience. This 24-hour, 7 days a week wholesale fish market is not just a cultural attraction, but both a sight for the eyes and a sensation for the taste-buds. If you can get up VERY early, you can see the fish auctions in the morning. But throughout the day, there is on display just about everything that swims, slithers, or sits about under water and is edible - plus a few things that don't exactly look too taste-tempting.
Be warned, just about every hawker there will try to coax you into buying something. The best thing to do is pick a stall with a good selection and just bargain there. You can usually get about 10% off what they first suggest. But it's best to check out the prices of at least two to three places before deciding on where to buy.
After wandering the alleyways between the various displays you can select a fish, have it swiftly turned into a plate of sashimi (or "hwe" in Korean) and then be escorted to a nearby restaurant where all the ancilliaries such as drinks, cutlery, and so on are provided. Plus, they'll take the bones and head and other left-overs and turn it into a steaming, spicy soup called "maeoontang". If you love fish, you simply MUST visit Noryangjin!

There are tons of vendors at Noryangjin Fish Market. The best way is by price as bargaining is considered normal practice. Once you pick and pay for your seafood, the vendor will slice the fish/seafood for you and then lead you to a restaurant (if you don’t already have one in mind). Once there, you’ll get a seat and be able to order drinks, rice, and anything else you might need. The restaurant can also cook the food that needs to be cooked (for a small fee). It’s a fun experience to see the older and more rustic/back-alley side of Seoul.

- 해삼 (haesam) – sea cucumber (20,000 won) about $22 singapore money)
- 멍게 (meongge) – sea squirt (20,000 won)
- 광어회 (gwangeo hwe) – raw slices of flatfish (flounder/fluke??) (40,000 won)
- 킹 크랩 (king keuraep) – king crab (50,000 won)
- 매운탕  (maeuntang) – soup made from the remaining fish parts (5,000 won for cooking fee)

Honey Benefits (Bangkok, a good place to buy honey)

benefits of honey

Honey is the only food (liquid) on the planet that will not spoil or rot.
蜂蜜是地球上唯一不会腐败变质的食物(液体)。
some people think it just turns to sugar.
有些人认为它只不过是会变成糖的东西。
In reality honey is always honey.
实际上,蜂蜜永远就是蜂蜜。
However, when left in a cool dark place for a long time it will do
what I rather call "crystallizing".
然而,蜂蜜如果长时间置于阴凉处,会发生变化,我认为称之为结晶更妥当。
When this happens I would loosen the lid, boil some water, and let
the honey container sit in the hot water, turn off the heat and let it liquefy.
如果这样的话,我会拧松盖子,烧点开水,把装蜂蜜的容器放进热水中,关掉炉火,让蜂蜜融化。
It is then as good as it ever was.
这么一来,就完好如初了。
Never boil honey or put it in a microwave. To do so will kill the
enzymes in the honey.
绝不要把蜂蜜烧开,或放进微波炉!那会破坏蜂蜜中的各种酶。
CINNAMON AND HONEY

Today's science says that even though honey is sweet,
if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients.当代科学表明,蜂蜜尽管是甜的,只要用量适当,对糖尿病病人也无害处。
Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada , in its issue, dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:

mulberry fruit (shanshen) benefits
Mulberry fruit is a sweet, gentle, and cooling blood tonic that enhances the nourishing, cooling, and moistening (Yin) aspects of the Liver and Kidneys.
Chinese medicine utilizes this herb to treat deficient conditions such as anemia, dry constipation, and the premature graying of hair. The ability for this fruit to treat deficient conditions may be due to the fact that it contains significant amounts of vitamin A, B1, B2, C, protein, lipids, and anthocyanins.

Monday, Apr 08, 2013
Mind Your Body, The Straits Times
By Joan Chew
What is it: The mulberry fruit is a berry from trees in the Moraceae family, which are native to the warm, temperate and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa and America.
In China, it is found in places such as Yunnan, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Shanxi and Guangxi, said Ms Felicia Ng, a senior acupuncturist at the Complementary Integrative Medicine Clinic at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Known as sangshen in Chinese, the fruit consists of a cluster of soft drupelets arranged longitudinally around the central axis, much like a blackberry.

Ms Ng said the berries are purple when ripe, but can be green, white or red otherwise.
The fruit is plucked between April and June, then dried under shelter or in the sun.
She added that good quality mulberry fruit is purplish and has a glossy sheen.
The berries are very sweet, full of moisture and have thick flesh.
The mulberry fruit is sold at $1.20 for a tael (37.5g) at some traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) halls here.

How TCM uses it: The sweet and slightly sour mulberry fruit is considered cold in nature.
It is thought to move through the meridians of the liver and kidneys and it is prescribed when there is yin deficiency in both these organ systems.
Meridians are channels in the body through which qi (vital energy) travels.
A good flow of qi, as well as a balance of yin (the element responsible for cooling organs) and yang (the element linked to heat) in the body are needed for good health.

Yin deficiency is characterised by symptoms related to heat and dryness, such as dry eyes, dry throat, dry stools and hot flushes.

Ms Ng said drinking fluids may not alleviate the dryness in the throat.

In TCM, it is believed the health of the eyes is linked to that of the liver, while the health of the ears is based on that of the kidneys.
A person with liver-kidney yin deficiency will therefore have problems with the eyes and ears, and is likely to experience blurred vision and tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

The kidneys also promote growth and development of the body and play an important role in reproduction. Prematurely white hair and irregular periods are signs of deficiency in this area, Ms Ng said.

She said the mulberry fruit is also known to address water retention along with other herbs such as achyranthes root (niuxi) and doubleteeth pubescent angelica root (duhuo).

TCM practitioners believe that yin deficiency gives rise to a heaty body which has poor fluid circulation. The problem is then manifested as puffy-looking lower limbs that are characteristic of water retention.

Who is it for: Ms Ng said diabetics have a tendency to feel thirsty all the time, so they are more prone to liver-kidney yin deficiency.
People who sweat easily in the day or night, youngsters who spot grey hair and women with irregular periods are also likely to be suffering from this area of deficiency.
Ms Ng said the recommended dosage is 5 to 10g of the dry mulberry fruit per day.

Who should avoid it: The mulberry fruit is a cold herb, so it should not be consumed by those with "dampness" in the stomach, said Ms Ng.
This is easily recognised by the presence of loose and watery stool that marks diarrhoea.

What research has shown: In a 2010 article in the British Journal Of Nutrition, researchers reported that mulberry fruit extract significantly protected neurons (brain cells) from being destroyed in mice that had Parkinson's disease, a degenerative disease of the nervous system.
The study authors, from universities in South Korea, also reported that the mulberry fruit had a total phenolic content similar to that of the black bean and more than that of red or white beans.
Phenolic compounds are well known to have antioxidant effects. This means that they remove potentially damaging oxidising agents from within a living organism.
